Indian Tribal Pendant #5

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE PERMITTED WHILE ITEM IS ON SALE - IT IS FINAL SALE

Part of our Vintage Afghani jewelry series. The Kuchi tribe created these pieces. Kuchi comes from a Persian word meaning migration, and that nomadic gypsy spirit runs through their veins and is reflected in their creations. The Kuchi is a collective of many different tribes, including the Pashtoon, that wander the border areas of Afganistan and Pakistan.

Their designs are centuries-old, and the metal is found and melted down along the way. The color, vibe, and spirit remind us of matta - the mixed roots and collective of beautiful things and people along the way.

We love the combination of colorful glass inserts and the feel of the metal pieces that move when we move.
