Return Policy


If you are not completely satisfied with your Matta product our return policy is as follows:

Extended Holiday Returns - Eligible items can be exchanged or returned for store credit until January 6th, 2020. 

Matta credit is valid online and our Soho location and does not expire. Purchases made with store credit are final.

Gift Cards and shipping costs are non-refundable; return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Please note that all Matta products are individually crafted by skilled artisans. Slight variations add to the unique beauty and personality of each piece. We also have made every effort to display as accurate as possible the colors of our products that appear on the website. However, colors also depend on your monitor and we cannot completely guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color is completely accurate.

All items returned must be in the same condition in which it was received. We will not accept returns of used or soiled merchandise. We have the right to deny a credit if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements. 


No refunds. No exchanges permitted on items marked down by 30% and below.

The value of sale items presented for exchange will reflect real-time markdowns, not the purchase price.

 Instructions for making a return:

- Please visit our Return Portal

- Input your Order ID# or your email address and you will be guided through the process. An RMA# will be issued and then you can download a shipping label to print (the cost will be deducted from your return).

- Upon receiving and inspecting your items, we will issue a store credit by email. 

* Please note that USPS is the default carrier for our return shipping. You can schedule a USPS pickup or drop your package at any Post Office or Fedex Location.
