The Rio Pant and Surma Jumpsuit are made from vintage Mayan ikat fabric from Guatemala. Matta repurposed these natural indigo textiles from Cortes - traditional Mayan skirts Guatemalan women wear daily and fashioned into pants and jumpsuits exclusively for matta. Cristina Gitti designed the silhouettes. Sourced + produced in Guatemala by Cristina's long-time associate.
